Short bio

I am a Postdoctoral researcher in Computer Science at IMT Atlantique (ex. Telecom Bretagne, a prestigious graduate engineering school), DECIDE research team (Decision Aid and Knowledge Discovery) of Lab-STICC laboratory in Brest (France). My current research is concerned with mining data sequences in order to detect and to predict anomalous events.

My research interest is mainly related to data mining in complex data (which are voluminous, varied and rapidly generating). I am interested in prediction tasks especially early prediction and detection of events within complex data sequences. One of my research contributions is to propose new supervised (classification) and non-supervised (patterns and rules mining) algorithms. I am also interested in stream mining techniques for emergent events detection using large-scale data processing models.

In 2016, I received my PhD thesis in Computer Science from Lorraine University (France), entitled “Prediction and influence of the occurrence of events in a complex sequence”, in LORIA Laboratory (Lorrain Laboratory in computer science, researches and applications) within KIWI research team (Knowledge, Information and Web Intelligence). I was a Temporary Lecturer and Research Assistant (ATER) at Lorraine University for the school year 2015-2016.

In 2012, I received my research Master degree in Computer Science, speciality “Software and Knowledge Engineering” from Strasbourg University (France).
