I hold an "Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches" (HdR) in Computer Science from the University of Rennes 1, and a PhD title in signal processing from Telecom Paristech. I have also received the engineering degree from Telecom Paristech as well as a Master of Science degree in probabilities and applications from the university of Paris 6.
As a lecturer I am in charge of different topics such as performance evaluation (queuing systems), statistical methods (Monte Carlo methods, MCMC, HMM, large deviations) and network and information security (cryptography, network security).
As a researcher I have been the advisor of 10 PhD students and a number of post-doc students. I have been involved in different collaborative research projects at national level (ANR OSCAR, ANR VIPEER), at European level (NoE EuroNF, FP7 IP ETICS, FP7 IP DEMONS) or in relation with South America (STIC AmSud MAITRE and PROVE, ECOS-Sud projects) as well as in bilateral contracts with different industrial partners.
I am the general co-chair of the TRAC series (International Workshop on Traffic Analysis and Characterization). I belong to the board of the RT2 research group on network architectures and management at Institut Mines Telecom.
