Research Interests

My researches are focused on the transport protocols and congestion control in IP networks, in particular:

  • The high-speed variants of TCP (bic, cubic, compound TCP, HTCP, HSTCP) in high-speed networks.
  • The interraction between network coding and TCP in wireless mesh coded networks.
  • Multi-path transport protocols (MP-TCP, CMT) and their new congestion control algorithms.
  • The deployment of in-TCP End-to-End forward error correction and its application in lossy networks (such as wireless networks), long-delay networks (such as satellite networks) and in high-speed networks.
